You may all thank MXKEEPER for the great effort in which he was able to transfer to me a almost complete set of doc's on the MX2424 and expansion boards. Sorry at this point no power supply is avail.

you may download from my site at:

<a href='http://www.themasterstracks.com/DOCUMENTS/MX2424%20SCH.zip' target='_blank'>http://www.themasterstracks.com/DOCUMENTS/MX2424%20SCH.zip[/url]

The zip file is about 44 meg.

I don't know how long I can afford to keep the site up so get it while you can.
Oh and you can donate to the cause of keeping it up if you feel led to, as thats always nice.  <!--emo&Cheesy--><img src='http://www.themx2424board.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

At any rate have fun and if you need to fix your MX you will need this file.

Thanks MXKEEPER
God Bless

THE MX STILL ROCKS
Warren

"Bison"
Not sure what is posted is what MXKEEPER sent me I just zipped up and posted it.

Oh and Thank MXKEEPER for allowing me to post it, he could have been miserly and none of us would be able to repair our gear with ease. He's a good man.

also, i beleive the tri-furcated molex pin pdf is in there. replace the power supply molex pins with these and the correct molded molex connector and power supply problems all but evaporate. other than a few actual rail failures, the too slow and non-mounted external issues are completely gone. for 3 years now.

Warren:

I went to the link you provide and it looks like it is no longer good.  The link Claude has in the top "sticky" post in this forum also doesn't seem to work.

I sure would be grateful to get these docs!  So grateful in fact that I will host it on our site so others can get it.

Any chance to get a copy?

Claude:

THANKS so much for getting this forum back on line!!  We got our new mobile truck on line last summer and were really sad when the site wouldn't work any longer.  We record to Mx2424 in the truck.  You can check out a picture of its interior at:

Thanks very much

All:

MANY thanks to fellow MX owner the "aviator" for contacting me and providing the schematics!

He mentioned that Claude and Warren's links may not work any longer because Tascam might have an issue with us posting the schematics on a site.

Because of that I won't post them on our site as promised.  However, if you need them...my advice is to put a post here and some good MX owner will help you out!

Thanks
Jeffrey Bruton

Hi -

I've noted the link as missing on the docs page. Regretably, I've been through several office PC hard drive/OS re-installs and lost the schematics locally. My last chance is to contact my previous server, where the old site resided, in the hopes that maybe some of the site's data hasn't been yet deleted.

I'll keep everyone posted -
